     Kate's career really took off when Kate Lawler entered our screens as a contestant on the hugely successful reality TV show Big Brother. Kate was on series of the show hosted by Davina McCall on Channel 4. Kate during the 9 weeks of the show endured herself to the British public and on the deciding vote against fellow contestant Johnny Kate Lawler poll over 1 million more votes winning the show with over 3 million votes and being its first female winner. When the dust had settled Kate made a video featuring her doing a combat exercise routine which proved popular with generous sales. Her next main role was to act as co-host along with Ian Lee on RISE the Channel 4 breakfast show to replace Big Breakfast. When RISE was pulled due to lack of viewing figures Kate Lawler managed to stay in the limelight and a high profile romance with England and Real Madrid footballer Jonathan Woodgate. Kate Lawler was signed up to appear as one of the contestants on ITV's Celebrity Wrestling show on a Saturday night as 'Lawler The Brawler.'
